Summer's End...Sigh

So it's been a while since I've posted. SO much going on!

News on the twins: Robby (with the help of Matt) discovered his feet recently. He really loves looking at them and has even tried to grab them, we think, once or twice. Even more recently, he discovered his hands and will occasionally look at them and really likes to put them together now, too. Kinda sometimes looks like he's hatching a plot...

Hannah likes her feet, too, but not quite as much as her brother. She mostly spends time looking serious. Cute, but serious nonetheless.

They are consistently (knock on serious wood) sleeping from about 9:30 or 10:00pm until about 7:00am. It's been pretty awesome. Especially because of school starting soon.

The big girls start preschool in a few weeks. Faith is an old pro by now as she starts her 3rd year. She'll be going back to the A.M. class and will go on Wed, Thurs and Fri. Mari begins her very first year as a preschooler and will go in the A.M. on Mon, Tues, Wed. I tried to get them to go on the same days, but it wasn't possible. Anyway, we've been trying to prepare her but how do you do that, really? Next week I'll take them to "orientation" and they'll get to spend some time with their new teachers and meet some of their classmates.

Matt has his two teacher inservice days next Mon and Tues and his students start on Wed. I don't have my inservice days until Aug 28 and 29 and then my students begin on Tues Sept 2. My new adventure this year (besides working while having 4 kids, 4 yrs old and under) will be the first year of the expansion of Spanish in to the elementary grades. I'll start with 4th gr this year, add on 5th the next year and 6th the year after that. I'm sure I'll have more to say about this later.
