Things are picking up!

Been a lot of action here lately - check out recent posts if you've been gone a while...

Greetings from the Dayton Tall Timbers KOA - this place is nice.

All the kids are sleeping in the quad bunks in the back of the trailer. This peaceful night is brought to you by the following corporations: Kidco, makers of the Peapod travel bed, which turned out to be the perfect solution for Robby and Hannah; Munchkin, makers of the tallest side bed rail on the market at 20 in; and last but not least, Great Grandpa Bisbing...well, not so much a corporation, but an institution for sure. He crafted the aluminum brackets holding the bed rails firmly to the bunks.

We'll post pics of the setup tomorrow.

Things are looking okay for the trip from a technical standpoint. Today I hooked up the Chevy to the trailer, on my own, in about 20 minutes. Getting easier and easier. On the other hand, campfires with Faith and Mari are anything but relaxing. I think they technically could have thrown us out for violating quiet hours. Oh my. Had to have a talk about how fires are quiet time.

All is well.
