Switching hats

Just had a nice day at home with all the kids. Really, watching everyone without any help is not difficult at all...provided you don't have to GO anywhere. The twins have reached an age where they are content to crawl from toy to toy for long stretches of time. It's more work keeping the big kids entertained. But it was so nice to just laze around and have the twins crawling all over me.

Getting ready now for VBS - I'm one of the music instructors there. Frankly a little stressful since the whole thing is still something I'm learning. Never went to VBS myself and so I am still getting a feel for the expectations and the vibe. Last year went pretty well, so I have more confidence this time around. But this is the absolute last 'hurdle' between us and vacation time.

The challenge for us is going to be keeping up on preparation tasks for the BIG trip...we leave next Thursday for Jacksonville and Hilton Head, we'll be coming back to Cincinnati on the next next Monday in the afternoon...and then leaving on the big trip that Friday. Not a lot of turnaround time, so we are going to make an intentional effort to keep up on things BEFORE we go.

Sooo...yeah, things are going to get interesting here soon. This is a good time to check in often...or sign up for updates.
