...so I've been talking for a while about posting the schedule for our big trip this summer, and I finally sat down to do it. Then I started wondering...how many people actually know ALL the places we're going? We've talked to those close to us and explained it, but heck, even Steph forgets, so I know it hasn't sunk in yet. Most people probably remember a location or two here or there, but a lot of people probably don't know much more than the general direction "Out West".
And I thought...if people are going to be checking back into the blog during the trip to see what we're up to...wouldn't it be even more interesting to those people...and give them more incentive to check in...if they didn't know where we were going next? Why not keep people in suspense? Then every day when they see a new post, they won't really know WHERE it's gonna be from. More exciting that way, I think.
So that's how we're going to do this. I will NOT be posting the trip plans. If you want to know where we're going, you'll have to read about it as it happens.

I just wanted to make sure you guys have your reservations for Sioux City. Steph said you will be through on July 4. There is a big music festival that weekend (Saturday in the Park) in addition to the holiday, so the campgrounds will be hopping. She mentioned you are at the KOA in North Sioux City. FYI--you may want to check into Scenic Park in South Sioux City, NE. It's right across the river from downtown and, as the name says, a little more scenic because of this. Can't wait to see you guys!

We have reservations. From what I can see of the other park you mentioned - they may not be able to accomodate dad's big rig. It also looks like it might be first-come-first-served for the sites we would need? At any rate, I think the KOA is the best option for us. Thanks for the info, tho.
Hmm, my extra-perceptive Spidey powers tell me that I can now hazard a guess for at least one stop on the itinerary...
Heh heh. Hadn't intended it that way, but if you'd like to make this a really really dull version of DaVinci Code or Lost...feel free to hunt for clues.
